This pink rose chair pad is hooked using new and recycled wool strips on burlap backing. The edges are whip stitched. Fabric is sewn to the backing to create a chair pad. This was one of Beulah’s earlier hooked pieces. She was a self-taught rug hooker and attended many community workshops. She also enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing and baking. She lived for many years in the community of Weston, NS. Beulah Dorey: 1939-2023
