This rug is hooked with recycled materials on burlap backing. The edges are whip stitched with binding sewn on the back below the whip stitching. It is in good condition however, one corner of the rug is fraying.
This hooked rug was donated to the DesBrisay Museum in Bridgewater, NS. It was hooked by Sadie (Weagle) Wile. Hooked in 1920 it is now over 100 years old.
