Verlene Mosher hooked this lovely sailboat on burlap backing. The edges are folded over to the back and stitched down. Upper Kingsburg, NS that you see at the bottom of this wall hanging is where the rug hooker lived. Note the sails are hooked and clipped to give the sails a 3-d affect.
Upper Kingsburg, NS has beautiful views of the ocean and usually boats of many kinds including sail boats can be seen out on the water during our warmer weather. The owner purchased this item in the 1970’s and it is in very good condition.
