“Bluebird” is the title of this wall hanging hooked by a well known Cheticamp rug hooker, Henriette Aucoin. It is hooked with wool yarn on burlap backing. The edges are folded over and stitched down on the back.
The rug hooker, Henriette loved all animals and birds. When she saw this bluebird she wanted to hook it right away.
The owner of this treasure had been great friends with Henriette and family over the years.
