This floor runner/table runner was designed and hooked by well known rug hooking artist, Deanne Fitzpatrick, who has taught many, many individuals how to rug hook over the years in person and on line.
She received the Order of Canada in 2023. She resides in the Amherst, Nova Scotia area where she also has her shop and holds classes.
This runner includes various flowers/foliage, grapes and crows. The rug hooker’s initials and year the runner was created are hooked at each end of the runner. It is hooked using recycled materials, wool fabric, mixed materials on burlap backing. The backing is folded over to the back and stitched. It is in good condition.
