This rectangular shaped rug has an oval shaped center pattern with square blocks hooked in blues and greys. There is a floral design on each end of rug surrounding the oval shaped center. There is a one row hooked in black that separates the design of the rug from the outside border.
It is hooked with new materials and yarn on burlap backing. The edge is sewn back with thread which is also crochet and whip stitched. It is faded somewhat.
It was in a cottage in Green Bay, NS and gifted to the current owner.
