The parrot sitting on a branch is hooked using various shades of green. The background within the oval border is hooked in pink or a shade of red (faded). The foliage is hooked in browns and greens. The background is grey with a black border around the outer edge.
It is hooked with various recycled materials including nylon stockings, cotton fabric and wool fabrics on burlap backing. The edges are crochet.
This rug and several others were located in a cottage in Green Bay and gifted to the current owner.
