Story about the rug

Sullivan’s Pond and St. Peter’s Church (Maple Street) in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia are long standing landmarks. Sullivan’s Pond was created during the construction of the Shubenacadie Canal in 1826. It was named after a canal foreman named Mr. Sullivan.
Leslie hooked this pictorial with guidance from teacher Marjorie Judson, Prince Edward Island,  during a class she attended. It is hooked using new wool strips on burlap backing.
Leslie (Boxall) Cameron continues to enjoy the craft of rug hooking very much.
