Story about the rug

Henry Kaulback’s Sunday Driving Mittens – This pair of mittens has been hooked through the knitted area. The loops are pulled inside in the palm area and the large cuff has the loops on the outside. The mittens appear to be made from natural sheep’s wool creating a dense cozy mitten.
Inside the cuff of one mitten is embroidered “Henry” and insde the cuff of the other mitten is embroidered “Kaulback”.
The little brown card identifying Henry Kaulback and his life span was included with the mittens when they were donated to the Fort Point Museum, Lahave, NS.
