Not much is known about this hooked rug other than it was hooked in Nova Scotia and donated to a heritage society. It has faded somewhat as the colours on the back of the rug are more vibrant than on the front. It shows a beige background with flowers hooked around the outside edge with leaves and vines. It is hooked on burlap backing. The rug hooking goes to the edge of the rug and hooked through all thicknesses to secure the burlap on the edges. It was hooked using various recycled materials. It is very fragile.
