Beulah Rafuse hooked this lovely hooked rug using wool yarn on burlalp backing. The 3 flowers are vibrant and the background colour she used makes the flowers really stand out. The edges are crochet and hooked into the backing which appears to be the method she used to finish the edges of all her hooked rugs as you will see in other rugs registered and posted on this site.
Beulah was a very enthusiastic individual who was well known in her community of Parkdale, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia participating in many community activites, groups and truly enjoyed the outdoors.
