Beulah Rafuse chose to hook the flowers in this rug using red, white and blue acrylic yarns for the flowers and buds. The leaves are hooked using green acrylic yarn on burlap backing. This rug has a crochet edge hooked into the backing. It is in very good condition.
Beulah Rafuse enjoyed farming, fishing and being outdoors. She was very much involved with her community of Parkdale, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia.
