This floral rug is hooked using recycled wool strips on burlap backing. The edges are folded over to the back and stitched down. It has been exhibited. The rug hooker’s name is included on the back of the rug. This lovely floral rug has been gifted to the rug hooker’s brother. (The rug hooker learned the craft of rug hooking from his grandmother when she was in her late 70’s to 90’s years of age.)

The vibrant colours of the flowers in this rug compliment each other very well and the darker background accentuates the flowers and leaves. A nice family keepsake!
