This “Celtic C” wall hanging was hooked by Peggy Carson representing the “C” in their family name. It is hooked with recycled wool strips on linen backing. The edges are whip stitched with matching yarn and there is cotton binding sewn around the outside edge.
The colours are very vibrant and compliment each other very well.
Peggy Carson hooked many pieces over the years. She was born in Ontario however, lived much of her life in Nova Scotia. She was a member of a rug hooking group in Pictou, NS.
This is a real family treasure and has been passed on to one of her daughters.
