“Nine Patch Table Mat” The owner of this little treasure is also the designer and rug hooker. Susan (McCuish) Logue has been rug hooking for many years learning from her grandmother, great grandmother, self taught and attending many rug hooking courses over the years. She also owned a rug hooking supply shop, repairs rugs and is the author of 2 dye books “Past & Present Antique Colours and Spots” Book 1 and Book II.

The green squares are dyed Dorr natural wool, the brick colour is “off the bolt” (not dyed), hit and miss squares are a mix of dyed, undyed, new wool and recycled clothing. The backing is burlap.
The backing is folded over and stitched. There is binding hand-stitched to the back outside edge covering the stitched down backing.
